Alison Doody
Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor from 11 November 1996. She made her film debut with a small part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she was later cast to play Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan is in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody was first introduced to modeling when she was offered by a professional photographer. The result was an impressive professional career as a model for commercials. Doody strictly avoided the glamour of thongs, nakedness and nudity during her modeling career. After being spotted by to the director of casting for the upcoming James Bond film she accepted the role of Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody made an appearance in John Willis Screen World Volume 2 as one of 12 promising actors to be cast in 1986. 38. Doody had just turned 18 years old when she took on the character of Bond girl. She is still the youngest Bondgirl to date. in 1987 Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying in which she portrayed IRA members Siobhan Doovan. Doody was a silent actress in the 1987 version from The Secret Garden, playing Archibald Craven's dream wife Lilias. Doody performed the role of Sapsorrow in the Jim Henson's fantasy series The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. Then she took her biggest role yet in the film Taffin as Austrian Nazisympathiser and Archaeologist The doctor. Doody returned to acting in 2003 when she played a minuscule part on her role in the British comedy film The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at the awards ceremony. Doody's roles included the TV film version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004 as well as a booklet on the Holocaust as well as a short film called Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. Doody recorded a part in Danny Dyer's 2010 film The Rapture. The Clinic, a medical drama on RTE. The Asphyx was her 2011 remake. Pam Jefferson, the character she played on E4's comedy Beaver Falls during its first season of two years. In 2014, she was on the show as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. In November of 2018 she was awarded the Almeria tierra de Cine Award and received a Star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
